This 5-week Workshop is a Deep-Dive into all things Shakespeare.

After the 5 weeks you will have...

  • A better understanding of the technicalities of Shakespearean text.

  • Reignited your love for the Bard (or put out a burning hatred -- come on, you know it can be a rocky relationship!)

  • Tools and technique to connect deeply with language.

Every Saturday, September 11th - October 9th

All from 10am-2pm* at the Crash Acting studio at 1924 Raymond Ave 90007.

*On the final day, all actors will be performing their monologues/scenes, so the schedule will extend later to accommodate a class/dress rehearsal in the morning, break, then set up/performance!

 

  • In order to be eligible for this workshop, you must be available for all dates and times, and complete all assignments.

  • You may cancel and receive a refund up until September 1st, but after that date no refunds will be honored.

Maya is a professional actor, teacher, and is currently an Artistic Associate at New Swan Shakespeare Festival. She is originally from the Bay Area, studied Drama at San Francisco State University and attended British American Drama Academy in Oxford - in association with Yale School of Drama. Maya recently received an MFA from Acting at UC Irvine and is currently on faculty at Chapman University.
